Carleton Place, Ontario – Eastway911 Emergency Vehicles, a manufacturer of quality Fire Trucks and Emergency Vehicles, today announced that it has appointed Andrew Armstrong as President of Eastway911 Emergency Vehicles Ltd.

Andrew comes to Eastway911 with a broad and diverse background in marketing, business development, sales management, and strategy. Over the past 22 years, Andrew has nurtured a skillset that provides him with a unique understanding of all that is required to take a brand from concept to mass market profitability. He is a hands-on leader who has built and grown multiple product portfolios across a number of industries and technologies by focusing on execution and the customer experience.

Eastway911 designs and manufactures a complete line of new custom ‘built-to-order’ Pumpers, Tankers, Rescue, Wildland, and HazMat vehicles. Since manufacturing its first fire truck in 1973, Eastway911 has built over 1,300 trucks for Municipalities, Fire Districts, as well as Aviation, Mining and Petrochemical customers. Customers are primarily served from the company’s facility in Carleton Place, Ontario, where all vehicles are built to NFPA, UL and ULC standards.
